There is a theologically incorrect statement that I hear from many people. Many times this statement is used when someone is justifying a sinful practice. Here is the statement, "We are all children of God."  Jesus challenged His opponents in another debate to understand that the only way to be a child of God is by faith alone in the Person and work of Jesus. Please allow me to correct the theology. We are all made in the image of God, and original sin tainted that image. We can only become a child of God through grace by faith in Christ. Then and only then are we adopted into God's family as sons and daughters.
