Lesson Of The Hour

The Gospel restores peace, hope, and love to all of life’s problems from marriage and family to work and finances. Many people continue to follow their broken ways, and things get worse and worse. Everyone’s personal short cuts never really accomplish anything. Only the Gospel can restore God’s design to each person’s broken ways. The apostle Paul helped a deserted bondservant, Onesimus, restore this relationship to his master, Philemon. Paul’s intervention helped Onesimus as a new Christian to restore better things through the forgiveness of the Gospel. Christians can help restore peace and unity among brethren in the church.
