Tyler Hildebrand has more accolades to his name than the much of the AVP Tour. No player in Long Beach State history has recorded more assists. He became a three-time All-American and went on to become a four-time gold medalist at the Pan-American Cup. After eight (8!) knee surgeries, he retired as a player and began coaching at his alma-mater and on the beach, where he helped Casey Patterson and Jake Gibb to a win at the Manhattan Beach Open and a berth at the 2016 Olympic Games.
