Directed by Randal Kleiser (in his directorial debut), Grease is based on the stage musical of the same name by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey. This episode of Rewind & Review will look at the musical romantic comedy film that, much like the majority of its actors, is now 45 years old! Grease explores the friendships, romances and adventures of a group of high school kids in the 1950s. A wholesome Australian transfer student Sandy Olsson (Olivia Newton-John) and a leather-clad greaser Danny Zuko (John Travolta) develop an attraction for each other during a summer romance, but they face conflict when they realise that their relationship crosses clique lines.
