Luke and Jason re-experience this epic low-budget theatrical blockbuster which used concepts and costumes from the Japanese Super Sentai series Gekisou Sentai Carranger. When Divatox, an evil space pirate, searches for the kindly wizard Lerigot to retrieve his key to the inter-dimensional gateway, he turns to Zordon, Alpha 5 and the Power Rangers for help. Taking place after the events of Power Rangers Zeo, the film's events lead into the successor series Power Rangers Turbo.
