Jesus shows us that those who believe in the ego have a split mind, with part of the mind remembering the truth and part forgotten. This intense split causes the opposites to arise and are accepted as just the way things are. The movie lays bare all the complexities, contradictions, and dualities, even the acceptable ones. Jesus tells us that special love and hatred will not help us remember the kingdom of heaven because love has no opposite.
