Are you anxious about what 2024 will bring? Are you anxious about your future or your family? We all worry, no matter how strong our faith is in God. We get overwhelmed by stress at work, juggling schedules, knowing what will come in times of uncertainty.  But, the Bible is so clear that there’s no need to worry. Look at our anchor verse from the Gospel of Matthew: “So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” - Matthew 6:31-34 Matthew says to seek first God and his kingdom, and everything else will sort itself out.
