Thando’s shoes are foldable ballerina flats, giving women a compact and comfortable shoe option that they can easily take with them on the go. Thando's is the brainchild of Taffi and her husband J.G. They met while pursuing their MBAs at the NYU Stern School of Business. Their love for each other, love for Africa and love for art, inspired the couple to create an innovative footwear line that facilitates a modern woman’s busy lifestyle while supporting African artists. Thando’s provides a platform for creative talent on the African continent by crowd-sourcing designs from African men and women who would otherwise have limited opportunities to design for a global audience.
