Liza, who served as a Fulbright in Taiwan, is trilingual, speaking both Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. She received her B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from Wellesley College, where she focused primarily on counterinsurgency tactics and U.S. military strategy during the Iraq war.
