Two Pauls, One Show

SPOILER ALERT!: The 2nd half of this episode discusses the allegorical meaning and key plot points from mother! although it tiptoes around descriptions of particularly graphic content. Two Pauls, One Show twitter contest winner and Darren Aronovsky's #1 fan, Maarten Jacobs, joins the Pauls on the podcast to preview and then REview one of the most divisive films...certainly of the week...mother! The three discuss the proper punctuation of the film, as well as much more information than Dr. Paul is interested in knowing. Paul explains his preferred film viewing method; it involves being kidnapped to the theater. Next, Maarten challenges both Pauls to a pre-show quiz, and you won't belive who wins! Then Maarten shares the director's statement on the film, but only after Paul leaves the room. After the film, the trio ponders the meaning of allegory, and what makes an allegory good art before everyone joins in a round of "What is Paul doing with his hands...in Venice?!?"
