That's what we as instructors teach. If something doesn't feel right, just go around! If you're not liking you approach, as the PIC it's your responsibility to go in with a safe landing! If you're a student and you're not feeling the approach, most examiners should appreciate the fact that you're doing it. I want to see you over time, to make that good decision, there is no shame whatsoever to go around! Bottom line!
