The Biblical qualifications of an elder describe one who is a mature Christian of good repute, with gifts for teaching, management and pastoral ministry. 1 Timothy 3:1-7 Titus 1:5-9 Biblical Qualifications for Elders Above reproach Elders must be blameless, presenting no patterns of Scriptural disobedience or grounds of accusation.
