Magnificent Life

"My soul longs, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God." Psalm 84:2   Sometimes, in our spiritual journey, we may encounter periods of dryness and feel distant from God. It is during such times that we must remember the promise in Proverbs 3:5- 6: to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Just like a desert plant relies on deep roots to find water amidst the arid land, so must we deepen our roots in prayer and faith during times of spiritual drought.   In Psalm 42:1-2, the psalmist expresses a deep yearning for God, likening it to a deer panting for streams of water. This imagery reminds us that our souls thirst for God's presence just as intensely. Even when we feel far from Him, we can take comfort in knowing He is always near, waiting for us to seek Him with sincerity and humility.   Isaiah 44:3 says, "For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit up
