Magnificent Life

"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Matthew 6:33  The story of Mary and Martha is a captivating tale that teaches us valuable lessons about priorities and staying grounded in our faith. In the story found in the Bible in Luke 10:38-42, we see Martha focusing on serving and being distracted by many tasks while Mary sits at the feet of Jesus, soaking up His words. This reminds us to prioritize spending time with God over the busyness of life. We can all relate to Martha's busyness at times, feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities and distractions. However, it's crucial to remember the importance of pausing, like Mary did, to sit at the feet of Jesus and find rest in Him. By seeking His presence first, we can gain clarity and strength to navigate through life's challenges. Psalm 16:11 says, "You make known to me the path of life; in your presence, there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
