Tommy Clark and Ed Mongan of BHP Billiton join Kym and Alvin on this week's show to tackle some very interesting topics, namely transparency and disclosure. The primary focus of this episode is the scorecard that the Investor Environmental Health Network (IEHN) has been releasing since 2013, detailing companies' use of best practices when disclosing information that goes into hydraulic fracturing operations. On that inaugural report, BHP Billiton was close to the bottom of the list. Ed, Tommy and the team at BHP Billiton were determined to top that list, which astoundingly they accomplished in 2014 (the very next year). Not being satisfied with their overall score, the team has been working day in and day out to get their score as high as possible so there will be no question about their ethics and quality standard
