Porter has been in the oil and gas industry for years and came from a very humble beginning as a CPA services provider for oil and gas companies in Midland, Texas. In this interview, Porter gives his opinion on House Bill 40 (HB40) and how he believes it served to clarify existing law for everyone in the state of Texas. He goes on to explain his thoughts on a sensible, balanced energy plan including his stance that we should lift the ban on exports of U.S. crude oil. Porter never fails to impress us with his logic and intellect when it comes to regulating the oil and gas industry.
