The Yankees took two out of three from the Chicago Cubs in Wrigley Field and held them to two unearned runs. Of course, they ended up losing the last game because the 2024 Yankees always seem to find new and innovative ways to lose every week. Luis Gil and Clarke Schmidt came back and looked great while Nestor Cortes, who came out of the bullpen and also looked great, had some things to say about his move into the bullpen.
