Welcome to the Vikings Postgame Report. The Minnesota Vikings continued their winning ways and defeated the Arizona Cardinals 23-22 on Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium. The Vikings and Cardinals traded field goals throughout the first half and the Cardinals took a 12-6 lead in the 3rd quarter on a Chad Ryland 40-yard field goal. The Cardinals extended their lead to 19-6 on a Marvin Harrison Jr. touchdown deep into the 3rd quarter, but then it was Minnesota's turn. The Vikings offense came alive on a 70-yard drive and Johnny Mundt capped it off with a 6-yard touchdown in 3:20. The Vikings and Cardinals traded field goals once again and the Vikings again went 70 yards and hit Aaron Jones for a 5-yard touchdown pass to take the lead for good. Shaquill Griffin sealed the game for the Vikings on a 4th down interception with 0:40 left in the 4th quarter. Sam Darnold finished the game 21-of-31 for 235 yards passing, 2 passing touchdowns, and 22 yards rushing. Darnold, Aaron Jones, and Cam Akers all finished with 22 yards
