Do we forgive others for our good or the good of others? Is it for our own peace of mind or is it to foster peace with others? What does God’s Word have to say regarding the “why” behind forgiveness between people? God’s people are compelled by His love, grace, and forgiveness to extend love, grace, and forgiveness to others. It is a mark of a believer to have an ongoing attitude of forgiveness.
