Adult Child of an Alcoholic I grew up in an unstable home so I learned insecurity, anxiety, and fear --my emotional blocks, & had no idea of who I was. My parents were physically there but not emotionally present. College Drop Out I only went to college right after High School  because it was expected of me and I didn't know what else to do. I failed out of college. My emotional blocks & a not so healthy relationship were big contributors. Unhealthy Marriage I married that man from college; another decision based on my not knowing what else to do. We had ups and difficult downs and drama; the latter becoming the norm. I stayed in that for almost 30 years. Unequally Yoked When I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord & Savior, we were 15 years into marriage; and my husband was not a Christian then or later.
