Here's a bit about this new author in his own words: Having grown up in Wickford, Rhode Island, my earliest memories are of experiences in and on the water. A 1968 graduate of the University of Rhode Island and an ROTC member, I was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Army at graduation and served two years on active duty including a year in the Viet Nam theatre of operations. After military service I worked for Proctor and Gamble for three years before deciding I wanted a career that was more entrepreneurial and chose the life insurance business as a path to that goal. My 37 year career in that field provided an outlet for creativity and unlimited financial opportunity.
