Gresham is ill today, so we offer this replay: In the late 1950s, the United States and Soviet Union expanded the battlefield of the Cold War into near earth space where both sides quickly began to explore the possibilities of manned spacecraft in the new "High Frontier." While the covert American manned military space programs were canceled for budget reasons, the Soviets did eventually launch a pair of military space stations in the 1980s. But what if the United States had clandestinely continued their manned military space program?
