Sinopsis
2014 is going to be a year of massive and permanent change for the men and women of the US military and their families. The year will see the end of America's combat role in Afghanistan, along with numerous units in long-term garrison locations in Europe coming home. In addition, well over 100,000 soldiers and Marines will be seeing their units disestablished, and be facing life in the civilian job market. In addition, the “Pivot to the Pacific” is underway, with ships and combat units moving to their new home bases, from California and Alaska, to Australia and Singapore. However, all of this “churn” is having serious effects upon the lives and lifestyles of military personnel, dependents, and their families, and without question will be the source of great stress, dysfunction, divorce, and other problems in the years ahead. To learn more about the "people" changes coming to the U.S. Military in theyears ahead, join military historian, author and journalist John D. Gresham (@greshamj01) for Military Monday
