Since the terrorist attacks of 9/11, the number of non--profit (usually 501(c) corporations) chartered to support military personnel and veterans has grown exponentially. And while all of these organizations, in theory, attempt to support the noble cause of active and former U.S. warriors, few if any, have the track record and respect accorded to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF).
