Being Heard, Dads Need To Be Heard Too. Here is the platform where you will be heard. Your voice is important and your concerns will be addressed. My child had cancer and everyone believed, as I did, that the odds were, she was going to die. She didn’t. She and I suffered through 6 bouts of cancer. As I tried to talk with friends and family about her, I learned, very quickly, what I could and could not say. On this show, we will talk about all of it: the tender moments and the tough stuff. We need to include Dads in all the conversations: good and bad. The pain of the family’s circumstances is tearing him up too.  Dads are expected to be strong for everyone else and not to talk about the pain. It's time for Dads to be heard as well.
