Sam Is Stuck:  A woman teaches her 8 year old son with dyslexia, to enjoy reading. Dyslexia denies children the opportunity to fully discover and fall in love with reading.  Their confidence suffers as reading attempts end up with frustration, pain and tears. Cigdem Knebel's 8 y.o. son is a bright kid. His inability to read hides this.  His low-level reading vocabulary has limited him to low level context books which, while suited to his reading level, are not suited to his intellectual level.  He's capable of processing a higher context chapter book, if only he can read the words.  Her desire to help her son motivated Cigdem to discover a way to write chapter books that are low vocabulary level and high context that he can read and enjoy, resulting in a level of increased self-confidence that so many dyslexic children lack due to their inability to read.  Meet Cigdem and hear her story as she discusses her first children’s book, Sam is Stuck, which is due to come out this month.  Visit Cigdem's organizatio
