LeAnne is honored this week to introduced you to a local teen making a big impact in our community! It is often said that we should look to the young to lead the way.  Such is the case for Ruby Selvage, a remarkable eighth grader at Los Alamos Middle School! This is the month we will launch our young people back to school where if they choose to, they can make a huge difference in the hallways! Ruby continues to inspire me with her love and attention to kindness and generosity! Ruby and her friend received a Community Impact award for her research on ways to prevent bullies. They spent almost a year trying to get their message out to encourage everyone to be a frally. They were even invited to speak in front of the school board.
