MEWShop’s one-day post-production summit returned to New York on Saturday, June 14th, 2014, at the Florence Gould Hall at the French Institute. This panel focuses on the career of OOscar-winning and Steven Spielberg's legendary feature film editor Michael Kahn, ACE ("Jurassic Park," "Schindler's List," "Raiders of the Lost Ark") with author and film historian Bobbie O’Steen. Michael Kahn, ACE has won three Academy Awards® for his editing of films directed by Steven Spielberg: "Schindler's List, "Saving Private Ryan" and "Raiders of the Lost Ark." He has also received nominations for "Lincoln," "Munich," "Fatal Attraction" (for which he won a British Academy Award), "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" and "Empire of the Sun."
