The first story I tell in my book The Life Council: 10 Friends Every Woman Needs is called A Friendship Reckoning. In this chapter, I share about a painful conflict with a friend that almost led to the end of our deep friendship, and how we reconciled with one big, meaningful, conversation in my backyard.I chose to keep that friend anonymous in the book, but she revealed herself in an episode my Secret Tapes podcast series and I'm airing it publicly here for the first time.There is so much about this conversation that gets to the heart of what I was trying to convey in The Life Council.
