Joe Jackson, the father of William Jackson joins the show to discuss his son, William, who has Duchenne muscular dystrophy which is a severe, progressive muscle-wasting disease, is a genetic disorder that primarily affects males and is caused by a lack of the protein dystrophin, leading to muscle damage and weakness. Joe is raising money to find a cure for this disease by rowing 36 hours and 157 continuous river miles.
