Canzano thinks that we are losing a lot of tradition in the sport because of teams refusing to play rivalry games, and the influence of tv now. Should rivalry games like USC/Notre Dame and Oregon/Oregon State be played? Canzano thinks that they need to be. Wilner also discusses the mediation between the Pac-12 and the Mountain West. Wilner feels like both conferences don't want to go to trial and need to come up with a solution so they can both move on as conferences. Wilner thinks that some rivalries are going to go away unless the big conferences get guarantees that losing non-conference games won't affect their rankings in the CFP.
