"Jock Tax" passes and will provide $800 million in funding for a potential MLB stadium on the South Waterfront in Portland and Meek says that everyone was excited that this bill passed. Meek says that the passing of this bill is a big obstacle in bringing Major League Baseball to Portland. Meek also believes that it is a formality for the bill to go to the Governor's desk.
