All Pop, No Culture

This week, the new(ish) stuff is The Fall Guy, Challengers, Millers Girl, and Unfrosted. Of course we have so much more, including Baby Driver, The Killing of a Sacred Deer, and a little bit of social commentary around Brittney Griner and the WNBA! We kick it off with The Fall Guy, which Lauren watched this week. Kevin is very excited to hear about since he won't get to it in theaters. Lauren enjoyed it but wasn't blown away. Kevin however, is still chomping at the bit. Next up, Kevin takes us back to 2017 with Baby Driver, a film he has tried to catch for years and has somehow always missed! Now that it's on Netflix, he finally jumped in and watched and he thoroughly enjoyed it! We flip it back over to Lauren to discuss another new theatrical release, Challengers. It's a twisted sports/love story that may not be quite as steamy as the trailers would lead you to believe.
