San Jose Mercury News' Jon Wilner joins the program to discuss college football. Wilner and Canzano talk about the preseason coaches' poll and if it matters. Wilner says that it does matter because when you look at the CFP rankings, it looks a lot like the AP poll that came out the day before. Wilner talks about Oregon mattering in the CFP world. Wilner says the Ducks are all in to compete with Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State on a year-in-year-out basis. Wilner thinks that the NCAA tournament will expand in the upcoming years.
