HCR-13-036 Camping and Hiking During Hunting Season

Informações:

Sinopsis

Hiking in the fall and winter months is not only refreshing, but a great way to explore nature with family and friends.  In some cases, it's not uncommon for folks on the trail to cross the paths of hunters legally in search of game. While hiking on public land may not be prohibited during the state hunting season, it is extremely important that hikers wear the appropriate colored clothing which identifies them as humans. In this week's episode, we look at some of the recommended clothing and some things you can do ensure your safety. This week, we visit the Platte River Campground in Michigan.  It's our feature campground of the week.
