This week we've been looking at five traits of leadership. The five traits we've discussed define leadership and can be applied at any level in the organization from the executive suite to entry-level positions. Leadership, real leadership, is not defined by your position on the organization chart it is defined by your actions on a day-to-day basis. You can exercise leadership anywhere, and as we've gone through these five traits this week I hope you've built an understanding of that. As a matter of fact, if you are not currently in a leadership position and you don't demonstrate these traits, it's unlikely your view will ever change. So far we've looked at having winning standards, getting off the roller coaster, making sure we're centered on our reference point, and being focused on values. We're going to close out our series talking about the importance of teamwork.
