Jackie Patricks started writing fiction when she was 15, and like most aspiring writers, thought her work terrible, immature, cliched drivel. But she kept at it, even going to college for her creative writing degree before she understood how useless such degrees tend to be for real world applications. she also got used to the typical reject letters.
