Tom Raffio interviews Jen Hubbell, the executive director of Girls on the Run New Hampshire. They discuss the mission and structure of Girls on the Run,  an after-school program for girls ages 8–11 that uses running and a curriculum focused on empowerment, confidence, and healthy living. Jen emphasizes that running is in the name, but the real goal is forward motion and joyfulness. Over 2.7 million girls have been reached in 30 years.
