Can you think of anything that brings more anticipation than a baby? You never know when the baby is coming! Sure they give you a due date but that is rarely the day when the baby comes. Jesus tells His disciples that he will return. They then proceed to live a life where they live in anticipation. Acts 1:10-11 "They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” Whether they were standing in awe of what just took place or if they were standing there waiting for His return, they lived their life in anticipation afterward.
