The Kankakee Public Library was proud to host the 2009 NAACP Mayoral Debate between Democratic Nominee Robert Ellington-Snipes, Write-in Candidate Nickey Yates and Republican Nominee Nina Epstein, with Theodis Pace moderating. The event was held in the new auditorium on the 4th floor of the Kankakee Public Library on Tuesday, March 24, 2009.
