What is holding you back? I am reminded in this passage that all we really need to succeed in this life, to accomplish what God has called us to, is a close relationship with God. The Israelites succeed, even with 99% of the resources not in use, because God was with them! Judges 7:2 "The Lord said to Gideon, “You have too many men...." God wanted to show the Israelites that all they really needed was Him. So He asked them to release some men to make it obvious the win in battle was solely due to Gods favor. May we be reminded that we have everything we need to accomplish God's will for our lives... God. So let's leave the fears and excuses behind us and allow God to work through us.
