The only thing worse than failing is succeeding at the wrong things. It is easy for us to get off track and start living life with the wrong perspective or even envying those who are succeeding at the wrong things in life. The author in Psalms here expresses his struggle with this issue. Psalms 73:1-3 "Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart. But as for me, my feet had almost slipped; I had nearly lost my foothold. For I envied the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked."
