It is difficult to love someone when you are looking down on them. Judging can be easy to do. There is something about it that elevates ourselves when we judge others, we sort of look down on them which makes us feel good/better about ourselves. Jesus reminds us that He did not come to judge but to love. The sinner without a relationship with Jesus will one day stand before the Father and be Judged then, us judging them now does not help them with that, but loving them can! John 12:47-48 "If anyone hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge that person. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. 48 There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day. ” May we be quick to empathize and Love those around us, there is power in Love!
