Life is fragile and short and it can change in an instant. We had a scar over our vacation where we had to take our 2-year-old to the hospital. There always seems to be things that are on your mind or causing you anxiety, but when something like that happens everything else really doesn't seem to matter. It snaps you out of your mindset and fixation on the things that really don't matter. Luke 21:33 “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” If we focus our lives on things other than Jesus... in time... we will realize how short-sighted we were and how we truly focused and caught up in the wrong things. Maybe it's time for a mindset change.
