These challenges, and living with HIV for 31 years, have made her passionate about making a difference through advocacy and education. She has had the honor of serving on many local, statewide and national Boards and Committees. In addition to providing services as a Peer Navigator, Speaker, Trainer and Fitness Professional, she has been instrumental in designing and implementing Peer Programs in Florida, and Manages the Peer Program throughout CANs clinics. She works tirelessly to eliminate stigma, empower and help improve the quality of life for others living with HIV & AIDS.Valerie has a National presence as a speaker and facilitator, but enjoys digging in the dirt and spending time with her fabulous dog, so today her focus is local.
