Participating in His Divine Nature: Knowledge God has offered to us everything we need for life and godliness, and He has offered to us certain qualities of His own divine nature. A continuing and increasing measure of these qualities will keep us from being ineffective and unproductive in our knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Pet 1:3-4, 5-8).
