Ji Hyang Padma serves as the Director of Spirituality and Education programs at Wellesley College. She also teaches this year at Omega Institute, Esalen Institute, Kripalu Institute and UCLA. She has trained intensively in Zen for nineteen years, including fifteen years as a nun in the Korean Zen tradition. She has also served as Abbot of Cambridge Zen Center and as a teacher of meditation and physical education at Boston University and Harvard-Radcliffe United Ministry.
