Social media has become a staple component in a lot of people’s lives as a great way to keep up with friends and family. However, a recent study on the impact of excessive use of social media on a marriage found that couples who had a 20% increase in social media use correlated to a 4.3% increase in divorce amongst those same couples. The study also found that 11% of couples who limited their social media use were happier in their marriage.
