The Critic and the Referee got a chance to interview the director, Meera Menon, and writer, Amy Fox, of “Equity” — a new film starring Anna Gunn, Alysia Reiner, Sarah Megan Thomas, and James Purefoy that opens Friday, July 29. It provides a groundbreaking look at Wall Street from women’s perspectives: Women are the driving force of the film, both in front of and behind the camera.
