(This week’s sermon is a little longer than usual due to a “Special Bonus Sermon” at the beginning of this week’s sermon based on the Shepherd's Crook and the oft-quoted “Spare the rod, spoil the child” advice from Scripture. The children's sermon -- which isn't part of the audio -- included a shepherd's crook as a “prop” this week, so I took the opportunity to talk about what the Bible meant by using the “rod”.)
